West Cheshire Past Captains joined up at Portal GC to meet the Past Captains of the Liverpool Society for their home match. The day was fine and there was a certain buzz in the air.  We were wanting to seek a small portion of revenge for the defeat in the away match. Everyone seemed up for the challenge. As the matches arrived in, it was very exciting.  One by one, a 'win', and sure enough at the end of the match, West Cheshire were the winners, 5-2. The day was crowned by a lovely meal in great spirit, Everyone acknowledged what a good day it had been.

Bridge Drive 2024

Captain, Rosemary Lilley, writes:

" The Bridge Drive and afternoon tea at Portal went off with its usual enthusiasm. We had only nine tables but it was none the less competitive! The winner was Barbara Baird from Vicars Cross with a score of 3500+. Pat Holt and Meda Cunningham, both from Prenton, had the same score so we had to draw for 2nd and 3rd prize. A good time was had for all and my gratitude to Portal Staff for their help and support. My grateful thanks to Judy Piper who masterminded the day. Thanks to all who attended, making my final function a very happy one."
